MIT (EA) - reach
Duke University (ED?) - reach/slight reach
Johns Hopkins University (ED?) - slight reach
Georgia Tech - safety
Washu in St. Louis - slight reach
UC Berkeley - OOS match/slight reach
Princeton (just for superr dream) - no chance whatsoever.
UMICH at Ann Arbor - match/slight reach, match if your sister actually attends.

Your scores are too low and you don't exactly have anything special. You basically are the typical Asian female. Work on your SAT... NOW.

That's really harsh comoseva.

jadore_isabella, I think that your aptitude for Spanish is pretty unique, unique enough to be a hook even though you're not planning to major in it or anything. That being said, I do see the absence of science - related ECs (beyond volunteering) and I don't see a good chance for you at MIT :(
Besides, MIT is better for physics and math.

jadore_isabella:

UCB: Slight Reach (out of state)

when ya'll say "slight reach" what are the approximate percentages of acceptance?

You would have so much of a better chance if you got your SAT 1's to around 2200.

Colleges just might see another asian playing violin and piano, but All-State Orchestra makes you stand out quite a bit. Spanish greatly helps as well. Just boost SAT's a bit, and you'll have good matches at WuSTL, JHU, U-MICH and UCB. MIT and Princeton are just crazy -- I don't even know.

If SAT increases significantly, your shot at at least most of those schools (barring the always randoms, like MIT and Princeton), is pretty good. But find a safety just in case.
