what are my chances at:
northwestern
umich
UVA
Emory
NYU Stern
& possibly Cornell?

just make sure when you write your why [whatever] university essay, you delete the names of the other schools when you copy and paste the same essay into each application.

you are missing some important info- ie. race, location, HS type (public, private, etc), how hard your courses were.
assuming the best here is what I chance you at:

northwestern- reach
umich- match/reach
UVA- match/ reach
Emory- reach
NYU Stern- match
Cornell- reach

asian
public school
live in NJ
heavy course load (APs/honors classes)

northwestern - low reach/reach
umich - reach (out of state)
UVA - reach (out of state)
Emory - match/low reach
NYU Stern - reach (Stern is harder than CAS)
Cornell - low reach/reach

Just my guesses.

I think that you have a decent shot at Emory. Your test scores are good enough. Your GPA is a little low, but a competitive course schedule makes up for that to an extent.

Michigan and UVA are more selective for out of state students than they are for in-state students.

NYU (stern) is pretty darn selective.

Northwestern is harder to get into than Emory, but I don't think that your 3.65 puts you out of contention.

Good essays and difficult classes, added with a little bit of luck, can go a long way. Again, your test scores are good enough.

And I don't know at all about Cornell.

Judging by the universities to which you plan to apply, I surmise that you are interested in economics/b-school. In that regard, everyone of these universities has a great b-scool program. And Northwestern, while lacking undergrad b-school, has a great econ program that is one of the best and draws in big-name recruiters better than almost any other program.

i think you have a good shot
