And finally what can i do to improve my chances!!!!!!
edit: want me to list my APs?

Collegekid12, thats a bit harsh. If he donated several million dollars he might get in. The East and West Fairchild could reallllly use some air conditioning.

Another way to look at it...do you want to be in a class where the majority of the students earned 2100+++ and have GPAs higher competing with you?

I agree with APOL. Better to be in the middle or top of any heap than at the bottom. You'll find a great school that is better suited to your stats. Best of luck.

I think you can pull it off if you try on your essays and get good recommendations. Higher SAT's is a must. Aim for +2200 to put yourself in the higher bracket. If you want to PM me, I'd be happy to talk more.

Your SAT scores are too low to even receive an application for the "direct admit medical program"- as you call it. Average SAT scores are above 750 per section. It is unlikely, based on your posted info., that Northwestern Univ. is anything other than a reach school for you. ( I believe that you are interested in the HPME program which expects SAT scores of approx. 2300.) Asking whether or not you should lie on your application shows a lack of maturity and poor judgment. I don't think that you understand the expertise and level of experience of the admissions officers.

Keeping it real for you: your chances are not good. Taking 10 APs is a redeeming factor, but a 2 in Psych and 4 in History is worthless as far as credits go. Your SAT is way too low. Most of us engineering students here have an SAT score of 1450-1600/1600, and a 700+ for SAT II Writing, and HPME is even harder to get in.

the HPME is super hard to get in to only 40 of 1000 applicants admitted. Northwestern has one of the top med schools and they guaranty you admission to the med school when they admit you, so it is very competitive. You need atleast a 2250 SAT and to do well on SAT II's, but so far, it doesn't look good
