I'm a junior right now at a really competitive school in New Jersey and I want to major in civil engineering. These are the schools that I am interested in and I just want to know if I could actually get into these schools or if I'm just being a little too hopeful. Could you tell me which are high reaches, reaches, matches, and safeties? thanks

I would really appreciate it if you could chance me with the really vague stats Ive put out haha =X

You look like your in pretty good shape right now,
I frequent the WAMC threads and from what I've seen, here are your chances, keep in mind these are rough estimates and should not discourage you from applying to any school.

Stanford- Medium Reach (its like this for everybody, its very unpredictable)
Cooper- Slight Reach
UC Berk- Reach OOS, match in-state
Olin-Slight reach to reach (just looking at stats)
Harvey Mudd- dont know
Carnegie Mellon - high match to slight reach (maybe off a bit since they're getting more and more competitive each year)
RPI- Match to Low Match
PU in NYC - dont know
WPI- In / Safety
Smith - dont know

Take all of that with a grain of salt since those were quick estimation chances.

thanks alot, i really appreciate it. haha i think i need a few more safety schools, just incase

could anybody else chance me?

I'm not sure what you mean by "Smith Colleges."

Hobart and William Smith Colleges doesn't have an engineering program.
Smith College has an engineering program but only for women.

o haha i didnt kno that. woops
