I'm active in all these clubs but unfortunately I dont have many leadership positions so I think that might hurt.

I played JV Tennis for 3 years and thats about it. Not much of an athlete.
For one of my essays I think I'm going to write about their CTD program. I did it a few summers ago and had a great time around the campus.

Michigan is my first choice school but I've always thought of going to NU. I know its competitive but itd be great to get in. Thanks for any responses.

I don't know about your chances at NU; however, considering you are in-state for UM, I doubt you'll have any trouble getting in there.

It will be tough. NU doesn't really consider the writing SAT at this point. Their combined SAT for applicants admitted this year was 1463, matriculating 1423. Your 1410 is below both of these in a tough desired major. Your SAT IIs are pretty good but perhaps not incredibly unusual for a desired biomed major. Your GPA and extracurriculars are not particularly distinguished. Your chances are probably less than average (27%) unless you can do more (in the essay, awards, etc.) to distinguish yourself from the pack. However, if they take your relatively good ACT instead and your class rank finishes in the top 5%, your odds probably can go up to as much as 1 in 3. It's always worth a shot especially if you strongly desire to go to Northwestern.
