Math:
144 AMC 12, 2 1st place at HMMT, ARML team (top 10 in county), best in school, started a math club in school, few other regional/state math awards, awesome math summer camp </p>
<p>Taken 8 online non credit math classes devoted to problem solving throughout HS and currently taking linear algebra at a local university for credit will also take modern algebra and real analysis over EPGY later this year for credit</p>
<p>Music:
3rd in county, varsity marching band and squad leader, best in school, went to a summer music camp where I got 1st chair, few other awards but those r main ones </p>
<p>Research: have done a total of 3 research projects since 9th grade, 2 on math and 1 on bio, im hoping my bio teacher will comment in detail on my bio research as I did not write an essay about my research</p>
<p>Research paper: I am writing a history research paper to submit to some magazines later this year but unfortunately I did not have enough room to talk about this in my essays and this will not surface in any of my recs</p>
<p>Volunteer/Service Work:tutoring, volunteering at local places </p>

<p>RECOMMENDATIONS:
counselor: most dedicated student ever counseled, talks about my tenacity of about how I thought my course selection this year was too easy and I signed up for linear algebra in addition to my normal courseload, also talks about how I significantly helped a student raise his SAT scores through tutoring</p>
<p>Math teacher: he is really lazy and wrote it on the last day so I am worried he may have bsed it but all the check marks should be the highest</p>
<p>Bio teacher: no clue but should be good I think he may have talked about my bio research but not sure</p>
<p>optional rec from math university prof: basically, he says im as strong as any of his students that have went to MIT, Berkeley, Stanford, Harvard, etc. and gives comparisons to some of his well known students who he could see me as later in my life</p>
<p>Essays: this part I think will definitely be a positive but how much, im not sure but I think some things u could get from these are creativity and my quirky personality and probably some more</p>
