and huge legacy

Also, ACT English Score: 30
Reading: 32
writing: 10
so hopefully since I'm apply to be a journalism major they'll pay more attention to those scores

and all honors and AP classes

anyone???????????!
PLease?!

come on now people

assuming youre a senior right now, you really can't just wait less than 4 more full days until you find out....

someone with some knowledge should chance him, as for me I'm sorry because I'm wondering about my own chances as well

Now I'm usually not the type to get all rallied up about this kind of thing, but I'm sorry, "Justie2505," as a high school senior who has been freaking out about colleges for the past month, the last thing I need is someone telling "to wait 4 more days." I've been waiting ever since I sent my app. in October, and a little bit of sympathy here would be nice.

My D has a 3.5 WGPA and 1900 SAT I and tons of EC's; over 600 hrs of Community service, prestigious internships. goes to a highly competitive school in CA. what are her chances for ER tomorrow for LAS

U of I takes so few out of state kids, I just don't know how competitive it is. If she was in state, I think she would have a very reasonable chance.

OOS students are considered exactly the same as in state students. Illinois has no mandate to take a specific number of in state students. Since its a state school though, I'd imagine a lot of their applicants are not out of state though.

Ilinois has the highest percentage of in state students of all big ten schools. Something like 93%. Recently, when the President announced plans to increase the out of state population he was severely criticized from numerous sides. I'm not suggesting that out of state applicants are treated differently, only that because so few are accepted, it may be more competitive.
