So unfortunetly I have to graduate early. It's not my choice and couldn't be helped. I applied early action to Mary Washington, but found out that I had to respond by December 22nd. I didn't want to stake it all on UVa, even though I would kill to go, so I took UMW's offer for January.
If I wanted to transfer, would it be awkward if I had that January semester?
Is it easier to transfer? And is it worth it if I just go to a community college for two years instead of Mary Washington and then go to UVa?
My GPA isn't that fantastic. A 3.5 with 3.6 freshman year, 3.2 sophomore year, 3.8 junior year, and 3.8 senior year (only 1st semester). I've only taken 4 APs. I am instate, but I live in Singapore and go to the largest international school in the world. My SATs were okay, I got a 1960. I some extracurriculars: track, cross country, swimming, field hockey, lacrosse, coach for middle school lacrosse, tutoring for children having trouble in school, teaching sunday school, and involvement in three charity clubs: habitat for humanity, global giving, and peer support/peer mediation. I have also held 2 jobs every summer off.
I totally understand that there is really no way in hell that if I applied now I would get into U.Va but if I went to Mary Washington and did well, would transferring be that difficult?
Do I have a chance?

You go to UWC, right?
