boston university

You have no chance at any of the top schools like brown, boston, northwester, ect. Your only have 1 medical related EC, which will cause you rejection.

Hate to sound mean, but it's true.

I would advise you to apply to some top LAC colleges/ivies for undergrad and not the combined program. From what I see you do great in school and you probably will in college, you will score great on the MCAT too I bet.

You should only think about BS/MD if you are certain you want to spend 8 years at that college because it is your dream undergrad/grad, or if you don't trust yourself to do well on the MCAT and shadow/volunteer during your undergrad years.

From the stats you've given us, I highly doubt you will do bad during your undergrad. Unless of course you only party and never study, but if you do that you're probably not cut out for med school...

many people (including the above posted) seem to forget that the ONLY reason why medical ec's are important is to show your interest in medicine. if you could somehow create a unique essay about your own personal experiences that pushed you toward medicine, then you'll be as competitive as any other applicant.

you actually have a great shot at all of those schools except NW and Brown. for those two schools, you will need to write ridiculously good essays.

Forget NEOUCOM, they only take 1-2 people from OOS, if that, in any given year. I don't see Brown or HPME happening. Your EC are blah and believe-it-or-not, your scores are actually too low. Drexel shouldn't be a problem; Penn State is a good shot.
