If you are ELC than you are in at UCD. Top 10% at end of Junior year is what will determine if you are qualified to be considered for ELC. What is the letter you spoke of that "holds your spot in lower uc schools"?

These are merely my estimates based off of where I got in and my peers. They are highly debatable, but I was on the bottom rung of my friends with an 1860 and I got into Davis so really it depends on a lot of factors, but I would say most of your bottom tier schools (UCR, SDSU, UCM, etc.) are on lock.
Your midrange schools (UCD, UCI, UCSB) are chilling at the 50 range + or - depending on the quality of your writing. But if you want that # to go up, you'll need to raise that SAT score to at least breaking the 1800 but preferably the 1900 to get it even higher.
Your upper echelon schools (UCLA, UCB, UCSD) are hanging at around the 20 range. You'll need to get at least a 2000 to even have a chance at being considered.

I recommend at least a 2200 plus a great essay to push your high level schools into the 50%

good luck and if you have questions feel free to ask.
