bump, come on people....................

Well since you are from NY and have the name redsoxrule, and I can see that you aren't as ignorant as other NY natives that support the God-awful Yanks, I guess I have to give you some feedback. (You can probably guess that I'm from Boston, huh?)

Minority status is good, but get the SATs up a little bit.

Columbia is a reach, but ED will only help. It's unpredictable, sorry.

Cornell, GTown, Williams, Colgate, and BC will also be reaches, seeing as they are extremely competitive, and unless you are an amazing athlete, places like BC and GTown are daunting.

NYU, Claremont McKenna, BU, Bowdoin, and Hamilton should be easier for you. Yet, some of them may still be a crapshoot. I would say 70% chance at BU/NYU, 80% at Claremont, and perhaps 45% at Bowdoin.

I would pick just a few more safeties. Political Econ is also a popular major, so keep that in mind. Perhaps going in undecided would make it easier, but it's up to you. Good luck!

Yeah I would retake the SAT I (you got 800 on Math II but 750 on the math on the SAT, that doesn't really make sense!), but I think you have a pretty good chance at some of your top schools! Your SAT IIs and APs are great.

Columbia ED - this is definitely a reach, but ED could help
RD:
Cornell - 50/50
NYU - almost positive
GTown - good chance
Colgate - almost positive
Hamilton - never really heard of this school, sorry
Williams - don't know enough about it to make a guess
Claremont Mckenna - this school has a pretty low acceptance rate actually...I'd say 50/50
Boston College - very good chance
Boston University - 100% I'm pretty sure
Bowdoin - same as Claremont
