UF calculated GPA: 3.3
School gpa: 3.0 uw, 4.1 w
SAT: 58 cw, 59 m, 54 w, 9 essay
ACT: 24 composite (29 in math)

ECs: Varsity baseball 3 years
FBLA 3 years, secretary position
Summer Internship at Deloitte accounting firm

My high school is a magnet and is ranked top 20 in the nation for public high schools.

I feel I have worked very hard to break my way into the accounting industry. I've taken 3 accounting classes in high school, did an accounting internship, participated in the business magnet program for 4 years, and heavily involved in FBLA.

Give me brutally honest chances for applying for summer.

Honestly, I would have to say you have a VERY low chance of getting in =/

I’d have to agree with jasoninpines. Avg. UF calculated gpa is something like a 4.0 and the avg. ACT is near 30. The middle 50% for the SAT starts at 1220. UF cares a lot about numbers. Even though your accounting stuff sounds good and all, most kids who are admitted will have stuff like that (if not more) as well as higher numbers.

I think you have about a 5% chance. Basically you need to raise your test scores to stand even a chance.

I think you may have a better chance since you’re applying for summer. Are you instate?

My friend got into the summer session with an SAT score she didn’t want to admit around me because I had such a high score…1200 lol. And she doesn’t have anything special, and she’s certainly not an athlete or anything.
So I think if you’re applying for the summer, and if you raise your scores some, you might have a chance.

I’d give you a 15%-35% chance of getting in.
