Concern: SAT score not that high...

Tell me if you need more info. Thanks!

Honestly, what do you want anyone to say? You're ranked fifth in a school that "sends 20+ to Ivy/top schools annually"; you have excellent SAT (yes, no one will reject you solely based on a 2310) and SAT II scores; and you have great community service, ECs, and awards. Are you that arrogant that you need that others tell you how great you are and that you have a great shot at getting into Harvard? In any case, how is anyone supposed to know that you're better than the other 15,000 kids applying that are also qualified to get in? Get a life.

Oh, I love how you put that your essays are "great."

^Sorry...I didn't mean to come off as arrogant; just concerned. And hopefully, my essays could be considered good... In any case, I just want some feedback. Thanks for your critique, though.

bump....bump...

Honestly, chance threads are sooo stupid.

If you want me to be honest, everything looks amazing...
...except the part where you say your SAT scores are low. If you feel vulnerable with a 2310, then a guy like me who has a 2260 shouldn't even bother applying... is that what you're trying to say?
Your statement sounds like it's stemming from ignorance, arrogance, false humbleness, or insecurity, any of which could very well get your rejected if it reflects on your essays.
Don't get offended by the above remark. You have a shot at Harvard, which is all anybody can say in these retarded chance threads. Feel confident about yourself, and just give it all you got.

Any more comments? I really appreciate your imput!

Are Council-Public Relations Chair and Novel Medical Integration school ECs?

your SAT scores are fine. you seem like more of a fit with MIT or some techy school.

I wouldn't worry about a 2310. Put your passion and your drive and why you want to be at Harvard, i.e. what being at Harvard will do for your ability to achieve your most unimaginable dreams, in your essay. I'm a couple years away from the admissions process, but as a Harvard student, I get the sense that they are looking for people that are self-motivated and hope to use the amazing resources that Harvard has to do good things for the world. You've clearly got the numbers. You now just have to give a face to yourself, and one that portrays you as insightful, innovative, and a future leader. That's my best advice in an application pool where the numbers are just ridiculously against any one applicant. Good luck.

Are you asian?

Council and NMI are ECs.

@thefishofsorts: what you say is true and puts things into perspective; thank you for the helpful imput!
