I just applied regular decision.

I've already been accepted to Michigan State and University of Missouri. Rejected from Northwestern. Waiting on University of Michigan, but I'm pretty sure I'll get in there.

The fact that your username is, I think, an Animal Collective reference should guarantee you admission. Am I right? Are you excited for the new album? Hoping to see them in January.

Definitely an Animal Collective reference! Yeah, I'm really excited for Merriweather Post Pavilion. Where are you going to see them? That would be super sweet--my area only gets really terrible concerts, like Plain White T's.

Thank you! I hope you get into your first choice school. Is it Wesleyan?

There is some craziness going on with the new album...I really want to know who would hack Animal Collective's email. Sarah Palin is understandable, but Animal Collective? Maybe they just wanted the album NOW.

Oh, and it's totally cool you hijacked my thread. Animal Collective is way better than chancing threads, which are kind of bizarre. I don't really understand it. I suppose people, including myself, just do it for validation.

If you end up reviewing the concert, you should send me the article. I'll live vicariously through you.

Ah, will do! Hacking into the band's email address . . . who does that?? The album comes out next month anyway. I enjoy the anticipation when bands I love are releasing new albums.

I'll agree that Animal Collective > chance threads, by far. Yes, Wesleyan is my first choice -- I've been deferred to their ED II.
