OHH YEA AND I RETOOK THE SAT FIND OUT RESULTS ON THE 25th

Sorry, I don’t think you really have a chance.
(don’t bash me for my opinion–you asked for it)

Well he’s African American, has average test scores, and he has a lot of extracurricular activities. I’d say maybe?

haha its fine ephemeral
but i would like to note that i actually received two calls from yale requesting that apply there…
and they told me in would be in my best interest to take the sat again
also i am a coca cola scholar semifinalist and a ron brown applicant

hmmm…

I don’t think your SAT scores will necessarily keep you out since you’re AA, but there’s a strong possibility that your gpa will. Congrats on being a Coca cola scholar semi, btw.

Good luck!

If Yale called you, I’m going to guess they wanted you for volleyball. I don’t know how reliable this is, but according to [this site](http://home.comcast.net/~charles517/ivyai.html), there are certain academic standards for athletes in the Ivy League… there’s no hard-and-fast rule like you need X SAT score, but they’ll only take a certain number of athletes under some point and a certain number under another point. That’s why they wanted you to retake the SAT. A really good athlete is worth one of those few spots for people with poor SAT scores (although yours are pretty good, just not for Yale); a less good athlete needs higher scores to get in. So your chances of being admitted probably depend on how good you are at volleyball and how much your SAT improves.

i got a 2010 640 C 700 M 670 W
should i even send?

I think this is a huge stretch, even for a URM. It may be remotely possible for a recruited athlete.

hhmm…we shall see

bummmmmmmmmmmmppp

you have 0% chance if you dont apply… mal gucken!

haha i like that

WHHHHHHHHHHHATTT???.. dont listen to them.apply man, trust me…they call me the dean at my school…Just make sure you write ammmmazing essays and also make sure that you apply to other schools…safeties, matches and more reaches…my advice would be

-Lehigh
-Boston College
-American University
-UPenn
-Stanford
-SUNY Buffalo
-U of Mich
-Drexel
-Boston Uni

if you can afford the 70-odd bucks, give it a shot! you never know.
but considering how much weightage sports have on your app, you might want to consider a school with more solid sports teams. i heard hyp dont have great ones.
not too sure about that, but you might want to check.
good luck!
