Combo of Honors and AP throughout high school - 3 AP Senior Year, Calc, Bio and French
Inducted in National Honor Society junior year</p>

<p>Both interview and essays were good (confirmation from admissions committee at Wake)</p>

<p>EC include varsity sports, teaching bible camp in summer, intern in doctors office, etc</p>

<p>Deferred ED, they want to see mid semester grades, 1st semester grades were had a B- in AP Bio, B in French and B in Calc. 2nd semester grades are likely to be a B+ in French, B+ in Calc and B-/C+ in Bio, will a C kill me? </p>

<p>what do you think are my chances are in regular decision</p>

A- in AP Calc up from a B
B+ in AP French up from a B
C in AP Bio down from a B-...2/3 of the class 10 of 15 got a C or worse.</p>

<p>Gosh, it is hard to tell. Your overall GPA in those classed improved. Your ACT score isn't bad, hope you sent it. The C isn't good, but the A- shows quite an improvement. I would say you are right on the edge, but if your interview was good and you showed a strong desire that just might tip the scale in your favor. My D is at Wake and loves it. Good luck!</p>
