-I am an elite figure skating and have been skating for 12 years, I am nationally ranked, am on Team USA, and I have been sent to international competitions is places such as Italy, Austria, and France; I practice 25 hours a week on the ice and multiple other hours supplementing my skating with ballet, pilates, conditioning, gym, etc. I have basically dedicated my whole life to ice skating.
-Senior President of the Junior Board for my ice skating club; I was elected in a club containing over 800 members. I am in charge of many activities from fundraising to hosting charity events. I have been a member of this board for 4 years.
-I play the piano and violin and have been doing these since I was five
-I also participate in fencing, kickboxing, and tennis
-oil paint
-Senior Founding Member of the Genocide Awareness Club at my school
-other things that I can't remember at this time :)</p>
<p>Awards:
-hundreds of skating awards over the years; four medals from internationals where I podiumed
-award from my skating club for best performance of the season
-7 first prize awards for my art pieces featured in a southern california exhibition
-French award for having the top grade in my class

-I have passed through all of my figure skating tests which take about ten years to complete (There are sixteen)</p>
<p>Community Service:
-I have dedicated over 100 hours to my club through volunteering at skating competitions
-As president of the junior board, I have organized ice shows, increased our income through fundraising by over 300%, help the club become more active in numerous ice rinks throughout southern california, held a special event where we have a show, throw a party, and teach kids who come from abused families how to skate- I am in charge of all of this; I have also set up adopt-a-family programs with my club as well as clean the beach projects and set up a holiday ice show where the admission cost was to bring a toy for Toys-for-Tots
-I work with kids from the Junior Foundation of the Blind as well as teach them how to ice skate because I believe that everyone should be able to experience the joy of it
-volunteer at the Red Cross once a week
-play the violin at homes for the elderly
-bring my toys that have been thrown on the ice for me to the local children's hospital</p>

-manager of a law office</p>
<p>Summer Activities:
-training for ice skating
-traveling to France for a French immersion program and community service project
-after being sent on my international competitions I always stay extra to go sightseeing through visiting museums, stc.
-maybe attending summer at Yale this summer, I have not decided yet
-next year I will be going on a service trip with a group from my school to Costa Rica (build houses, teach children english, etc.) </p>
