I have taken very rigorous courseload (as seen by weighted GPA).
I am taking AP psych, AP bio, and AP calc senior year, haven't taken any yet
Our school requires many prerequisites for the AP's you can take, block scheduling doesn't help either.
Our highschool is in the top 10% for MCAS scores as well.
Our highschool sends about 4 or 5 kids to top universities every year.

Schools I'm looking at:
Boston College
Cornell
Harvard
Yale
Umass - Amherst
Brown
Boston University
Uconn
MIT
Columbia
Dartmouth
Georgetown -Legacy

Other things:
Rotary Youth Leadership Award - sophomore year
Massachusetts Boys State 2009
George Eastman Young Leaders Award
Bausch and Lomb Science Award

Possible majors: Math, Biology, Biomedical Engineering

Rotary is awesome, baseball is awesome, and band is awesome. I don’t see a dedication to science or math, so I’m not sure about MIT, and the Ivies are always reaches, but you’ve got a solid shot all-around. Best of luck!

Thanks, any other thoughts?

So it looks pretty good all around.
I think:
Boston College - match
Cornell - match or high match
Harvard - Reach
Yale - reach
Umass - Amherst - safety
Brown - low reach.
Boston University - low match/safety.
Uconn - Safety
MIT - Big reach - Very small chance.(the not 800s on the subject tests will mess you up, sorry)
Columbia - Small Reach
Dartmouth - High Match/small reach.
Georgetown -Legacy - Match

I think you will get into at least one ivy(probably Cornell or Dartmouth) , BC, and Georgetown along with some others. You should also check out all the liberal arts colleges around mass, like Williams, Middlebury, Bowdoin etc.

YOur GPA is a little low for the schools you are looking at (especially if you want a competitive shot at getting in). That being said, I think if you raise your scores (try the ACT again- btw you can’t superscore with ACT unfortunately) you should have a really good shot. Also, try to beef up your ECs a little.
