yea im self studying chem and taking it in oct lol

can u guys also give me pointers on wut i can do to improve my chances? THANKS :D

Yeah, I agree with most of the other posts as well. Stanford/Brown are always uncertain, but the rest look pretty good!

in general, for all the schools, you have a decent chance of getting in. you have high testing scores, strong extracurriculars, and challenging coursework. all you need to do is write butt-kicking personal statements! good luck :)

your GPA is solid, and your superscored SAT is definitely on the high range and very impressive for the schools you’re going for. the ECs are diverse but a bit scattered, im not sure if i see anything else than a laundry list jumping out at me…anyways my predictions:

Brown: reach
Univ. of Maryland college park: low reach
Duke: low reach
Cornell: low reach
Wash U: low reach
U Chicago: reach
Hopkins: reach
Stanford: HIGH REACH!
UVA: match
Northwestern ( HPME): if the stats are true, veryy high reach :P

bumpppppppppppp

Academics arent outstanding, scores could be higher. Match for most, reach for Duke and Brown, high reach at Princeton (but if you have an awesome essay, you never know!).

UChicago is a reach too. JHU should be easier for you since youre instate… Program at NW is really good, but I know this girl who is basically only good at essays and leadership, and she got in.

bumpppppppppp

hey,

thanks for your advice! and no, i do not plan on applying to penn for any sort of business, haha.

anyways, i don’t know too much about “chances,” that’s why i made a thread, because i needed help! but i’ll try to give you the best advice that i can. i’d say to work really hard on your essays, because that’s what will set you apart from the rest of the pack. by the way, your internship sounds really cool! jealoussss…

bumpppppppppppppppppppppppppppp
