<p>hey, guys im new to this chancing stuff and gonna be a senior. any advice?</p>

-Very competitive private school</p>

-GPA:3.55(UW)/4.01(W)
-SAT:1960--610 CR, 650 M, 700 WR
-SAT II: Lit:650, US HIS, 700
-Ap Lang-5, APUSH-4, APES-4</p>

<p>EC:
-Prosecution Cptn.--Mock Trial
-Opinion Editor--newspaper
-Speech Cptn.--speech and debate
-Eagle Scout--BSA
-CSF
-wanna major in Political Science</p>

<p>Work Experience:Intern Office Staffer for my Assemblymember</p>

<p>What are my chances at USC, UCB, LMU, UCSB?</p>

<p>also for USC--im a legacy, and my dad works there</p>

<p>USC: low reach/ maybe match, idk if legacy pulls alot of weight
UCB: reach</p>

<p>Hurting you: GPA, SAT
Helping you: URM, legacy
EC’s could be a little stronger.

<p>Scores and GPA are a little low, but you should have a good shot at most. Berkeley might be a bit of a reach, though. Good luck!</p>
