First time posting, so I don't know how well I did. :]

As I said to you on AIM, the extracurriculars are fantastic (but you already knew that). We both know that your GPA is lacking, but that can be brought up.

Also from our AIM conversation, nobody can really chance you until you have an SAT or ACT result. When are you going to take them?

Soon
Probably September

Also, what’s your UC GPA?

considering the facts that AP and IBHL courses are weighted in most schools…i should see a HIGHER GPA than i see now. If for some reason you did not really good on all the AP courses, i suggest you take the ones you are confident about.

I’m going to say essentially the same thing that Keasbey Nights said. Your extracurriculars are phenomenal. GPA/rank is less impressive, but you attend a top school and it seems that you are taking a rigorous courseload.

Also, it really is tough to chance until you have some test scores. Though if your SAT follows your PSAT, you should be in good shape. Right now I’d say Stanford is your only reach, UM and Georgetown probably high matches, NYU and W&M matches and you’re in everywhere else.

jerrytheglide - I think she provided her unweighted GPA.

W GPA is…I think 4.4 or something like that. Our grading system is down so I have no idea

Also, you should check out UVa since I see you are looking at great schools on the East Coast as well. We are in the same league as the schools that you are interested in and have terrific SWAG and Politics department.

I looked at UVA, but I really disliekd the campus :/

buuummmppp :D
