Chance me?

<p>4.0 weighted, 3.9 unweighted. I come from a school that uses the 4.0 scale.</p>

<p>Female, half-Chinese, half Caucasian from a good public school (out of state). I got a 2200 on the SAT (770 critical reading, 630 math, 800 writing) and an 11 on the essay, and I got a 32 on the ACT, and a 9 on the essay. I got 730 on the lit subject test, 740 on the world history, and 780 on the US history. My intended major is probably history, thinking of a double major in history and anthropology.</p>

- Sophomore, Junior, and continuing into Senior: worked on my school’s newspaper, with an assistant editor position for Junior Year
- Summer after Sophomore Year did summer community service program and homestay in central America
- Junior Year, continuing into Senior: volunteered year round at a fair trade non-profit
- Junior Year, continuing into Senior: volunteered year round at a nature center working with animals
- Junior Year: A poem I wrote won a first place prize in a contest
- Junior Year: Volunteered – canvassed – for Barack Obama’s campaign in the fall
- Summer after Junior Year: volunteered at a hostel, then two organic farms in Canada
- Planning to – senior year: serve as secretary in a book club (school-based)
- Planning to – senior year: co-president of a youth rights club
