Chance me?

GPA is 4.0 weighted, 3.9 unweighted. I come from a school that uses the 4.0 scale.

Female, half-Chinese, half Caucasian from a good public school out of state. I got a 2200 on the SAT (770 critical reading, 630 math, 800 writing) and an 11 on the essay, and I got a 32 on the ACT, and a 9 on the essay. I got 730 on the lit subject test, 740 on the world history, and 780 on the US history. My intended major is probably history, thinking of a double major in history and anthropology.

Its never certain on OOs admissions. What are you thinking about writing your essays on? I mean everything looks pretty good but your essays could make or break.

Your math SAT scores are a bit low, but you’re still probably much better than even the average OOS applicant. Having said that, there’s no guarantee, but I think you have a very good chance.

Hmmm. would you recommend just sending in the ACT, then?

I’m not really sure about the essays yet, but I have a few ideas.

Well your SAT and ACt scores are just about the same respectively.
