I am applying to
Johns Hopkins
Brown
Georgetown
WashU
Emory
Northwestern
UPenn
UChicago

Thanks!

The fact that you’re an Asian male is going to hurt you a lot at UPenn, Brown, UChicago, and possibly Northwestern, as well as your somewhat low GPA (it’s a 3.68 on a 4.0 scale), but your speech and debate awards seem impressive, as well as your involvement with the yearbook. Your AP scores are excellent. I’d suggest you retake the SAT and shoot for the 2300+ range, as well as the Math Level 2 subject test (try to get an 800 - the curve’s really quite generous).

Ultimately, it’s your essays that will be the deciding factor, so make sure you get a head start on them and get people you trust to help you edit.

So would the above mentioned schools be a reach for me?
And what about Georgetown, WashU, and Johns Hopkins?
Thanks!
