My clubs got really messed up cause I transferred after soph. year because the opportunities at another school were way better and the level of education was so much higher.

3.6 GPA; Not sure of my Rank off the top of my head, top 20-25% though.

Almost all honors in core subjects, including AP History 1&2
Involved in a very selective summer program at a local State University which was called The Honors Prog. for Teaching and Learning in which i was involved in daily seminars related to teaching as well as extensive community service in which we worked with and taught students in urban Newark NJ. We also had the opportunity to take as a 3 Credit college-level class which I earned an A- in.

Planning to major in:
Education or International Business
If you guys need to know anything else just ask :)

bump pleaaaaase?

I think you need to drastically improve your SAT score to be competitive for some of your more selective colleges. Any officer positions in your ECs?? But here is what i think:
The College of NJ (applying early decision with a legacy) (low match since legacy and ED)
Northeastern (applying early action) Arent you applying ED, so how can you apply EA??
UConn (no idea)
Cornell (High, high reach)
Rutgers (low match)
Montclair State (no Idea)
American U (no idea)
Penn State U Park (low reach/low match)
U of Notre Dame (high reach)

Hmm you have a slightly higher GPA and SAT score than me. Your EC’s pretty much own mine though. Rutgers would be a safety for you, and I think TCNJ is a good match. Penn State and American might be a low reach maybe?

TCNJ - slight reach
Northeastern - reach
Uconn - match to very slight reach
Cornell - super reach
Rutgers - match to very slight reach
Montclair St - safety
American - reach
Penn State - slight reach
Notre Dame - super reach

I’d say with a 1170 SAT (two parts) right now, you will get into Montclair St and probably 1 or 2 of the three other matches/slight reaches. You may want to add 1 more safety just in case…like Towson or Temple. Get your SAT up 50 points and Rutgers, UConn will be more likely.

Temple really isn’t a safety with a 3.6 and 1170. It’s between a match and a safety.

Also, applying to Cornell and ND would be a waste of time.
