<p>Hi, I'm a rising senior in a highly competitive school in MA. I would greatly appreciate it if you guys would take a look at my resume and chance me for the schools i'm applying for.</p>

<p>Up until senior year, I've taken all Honors/AP's except one class. </p>

Weighted GPA: 4.05</p>

<p>Test Scores:
SAT: 2290 (took it once)
PSAT: 231 (prolly made nsf)
SAT II:
800 on math lvl 2
770 on chem</p>

macroeconomics- 4 (this sux for a business major, but hey, i self studied cuz school dind't have ap econ)

3x math team captain
math team won new england championship for 2 years in a row
250+ volunteer hours
2 years of work experience
4 time AIME qualifer thus far (missed USAMO by half a question -_- )
Part of science team that won 3rd place in state
Part of 4 man enviro team that placed top 10 in state
Copy editor for school newspaper
JV water polo team 9th grade (i moved in 10th grade and new school didnt' have water polo team)</p>

<p>played violin for 8 yrs.</p>

<p>Unique traits:
Moved 9 times in my life (one of the reasons my gpa died in 10th grade, didn't adjust to MA education)
1st generation chinese</p>

<p>You definitely have a shot at all of your schools, but with a 3.56 UW you have some explaining to do through essays/interviews. That is, unless your rank is very high, and your school sends a bunch of people to top-tier schools. Being chinese may hurt you quite a bit, but I still think that you should get into at least one or two of your choices.</p>

<p>Btw, you listed Northeastern and BU as ‘backups’ – is this just another way to say safety, or do you really not wish to attend? The whole point of having a safety is for you to have a school you know you can get into that you’ll really like.</p>
