<p>I got into UR and you have higher SATs and a lot of other stuff than I did in high school (except GPA) but you should really show some personality and creativity with your essays. That’s what they really stressed they liked about the accepted students last year, and our acceptance letters were personalized.</p>

<p>Apparently, I am no longer allowed to post funny comments on the “chances, plzzz” threads. Normally, I would have said: very low chances, try a local CC instead. But, since I am not longer allowed to express such “nonconstructive” and subjective commentary, I will respond in a more objective fashion: USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION on this forum to search for 100s of other “chance me plzzz” threads.</p>

<p>They are virtually all the same from an objective point of view, so you can read responses in those threads and apply them to yourself. </p>

<p>Moreover, no one on here can tell you honestly what your chances are. Most of the students who apply have virtually the same academics/ECs/jobs/race/etc/etc and yet some get in and some don’t. There is not magic formula! Do you best and apply; trying to get others to reaffirm your preconceived notions about what it is that’s good/bad about your application “package” doesn’t do anyone any good.</p>

<p>PS - this is not intended for photoboii or anyone else directly…only collectively at the “chance me plzzz” group of people!</p>
