I'm currently a sophomore at a top 15 small LAC in the north east, and I've decided that small schools are not my cup of tea. Although I have yet to declare my major, I will be an econ/math person. I aspired to go onto business school (pursue an MBA) after matriculating from my current school, but factors from this school and my desire to go to a business school now have influenced my decision to attempt transferring.

My School gives out numerical values for grades, as opposed to a standard 3/4 GPA scale.
Freshman Year
Fall-89
Spring-81 (Linear Algebra/Depression [Hardly an Excuse])
Freshman year 85=3.0 GPA =/

Current College EC's
-Varsity Swimming
-Working on campus as a Lifeguard
-Writing for the School Paper

I know the target GPA number is a 3.5, and I'm working really hard to get all A's this semester to show growth. The 3.5 will coming after 2nd semester, so I hope to send a 2nd semester report after midterms.

What do you all think? I understand they all will be reaches given my predicament, but I would like to know if any of them are feasible. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks all.
