Thank you =D

Your SAT’s and GPA may put you out of the running for Stanford, and UC-Berekely may be a high reach, but you have a pretty good shot at the rest of your choices!! Most likely in at UCF, and a good shot at UCI and UCD. Good luck!!

UC Irvine (reach try to raise your sat score for an even better shot though)

UC Davis (Same as the above)

UC Berkeley (Reach)

UC San Francisco (No Chance)

Stanford (No Chance)

Reconsider the schools you’re applying to. You’re pretty much not in the running for a spot at UC Berkeley, SF, or Stanford. That is, of course, unless you bribe the school. :D

Why don’t you try CS schools? Cal State.

Topdog, not a bad idea, but honestly, i feel as though i worked too hard for a cs school

well, plus some more ec and raise your sat scores please.
there’s lots time and if you want to get into those hard school they are needed.

thank you. (:

I think stanford is a bit high of a reach, and berkeley is a reach but verry possible, but the other ones are looking good!

I don’t think TopDog meant to insinuate that you should only apply to Cal State, but instead that you should apply to it as a supplemental along the UCs. You’ve got quite a bit of reaches on there… I’d really consider retaking your SAT and Subject Tests. Scores in the 500s simply will not cut it for Berkely, Stanford is out of the question, and UCSF is a long shot.

You have to realize, students applying to these schools usually score near the 2000s (Stanford would be in in the high 2000s: 2200, 2300). Berkely is the absolute best public university in the nation; as such, only the best students in the state will be admitted. Same goes with Stanford: fourth best private university in the nation, so only the best will be accepted.

I think it would be prudent to lower your sights a little bit, as TopDog suggested.

UCSF is a graduate school only guys

what’s your major?
