<p>Essay: thinking about writing about Hurricane Katrina's effect on me- would this be too cliche?</p>

<p>You’re a very strong applicant. Your scores and GPA are obviously fantastic, but your ECs are a little average. As for your essay, I’d say it wouldnt be the best idea unless it had some unique impact on you that was different from everyone elses.</p>

<p>There’s absolutely no way you can get into of those schools except maybe Tulane and Boston College. Maybe. :)</p>

<p>Just kidding. You’re an outstanding applicant as far as I can tell and will probably get into most of those places. Now that ywe’ve done that (were you seriously expecting anything else) stop wasting your time here and start those applications. Did Katrina affect you in a significant way? If yes that’s an awesome essay. Send me a draft if you want (can’t steal it, i’m chinese).</p>
