<p>You’re probably in (the legacy thing doesn’t matter much, I don’t think). Your SAT scores may keep you out of the running for merit $$, as well as the issue that you haven’t taken the “most rigorous” APs (like Calc, Physics, Chemistry,etc)*. As an instater, I think you’ll have no problem getting in. Good luck!!!</p>

<p>My second D was much more into the humanities and languages and had no desire to take Calculus, Physics, Chemistry, etc. AP classes. It was the right decision for her in high school, but I was told by folks at UMD that it impacted decisions regarding Honors and the amount of Merit $ she got. It is what it is. <em>shrugs</em></p>
