Violin - I've been playing for about 12 years. I study with a teacher at the San Francisco Conservatory. I've been Assistant Principal of the second violins and first violins, as well as concertmaster for the three years I've been in youth orchestra. I won second place in a regional concerto competition for string players. I also play chamber music at the San Francisco Conservatory in their prep program.
AGATE - I was selected for participation in a district-wide program that involved creating an interdisciplinary project.
Piano - I started taking weekly piano lessons at the beginning of my junior year.
Ballet - I did classical ballet for 10 years until the end of freshman year and was often selected to participate in productions usually involving only upper-level students.
Clubs - I participated for a year in Diversity Club at my school.

Other things
National French Contest - Freshman year, I achieved regional recognition; sophomore and junior years I achieved national recognition.
California Scholarship Federation - By the end of my senior year, I should be a Lifetime CSF member.
