<p>Hey everyone. I am freaking out about uc apps and just wanted to here my chances of getting into ucsd or other uc's like la or berk. your responses would really help. my first choice is ucsd.</p>

<p>College gpa weighted: 4.5
UC GPA 4.19
unweighted 3.89</p>

<p>honors ap classes taken: AP chem, Ap Bio, Honors Physics, span 4 honors, span 5 ap, English honors 10th, English honors 11th, cal ab ap, i also took us history at a community college, and us gov, which count as weighted classes. </p>

<p>senior classes (now): comp lit AP, stats ap, ap art history, Econ AP, physio and anatomy
EC's </p>

<p>2 years of volunteer at a hospital
guitar 5 years
CSF member and treasurer
WEB leader at school (Helps new students around school and stuff)
cross country 3 years (ankle injury this year)
ayso 2 years ( sophomore and junior year).
VIP soccer over summer and weekends now. Helping mentally disabled kids play soccer.</p>

<p>Hmmm… things look good overall for UCSD. But if you really want Berkley and LA, I would really recommend trying to get your SAT to a 2050 minimum (preferably at 2100).</p>

<p>What Avi explained is a good choice, but I feel your SATs are solid enough even for Cal and LA. UCSD is a bit easier to get into than the other two.</p>

<p>What is your rank in class? Are you in ELC?</p>

<p>These factors will aid in determining your chances into UCSD. </p>

<p>UCLA and Cal do not really look into ELC but it might be different this time.</p>

<p>no i am not elc. My school is very competitive, and since i got a b in a sem of chem i cannot get it. I am in the top 5-8% according to my counselor.</p>

<p>Your SAT will be the only thing holding you back from Cal and UCLA, but you might get into UCSD with just the one you posted. To be sure, retake it and do better.</p>
