I'm texas resident and NOT in top 10% :/
my gpa is 3.87 (8/55) and SAT score is 1770 (C/R 510, MATH 730, WRITING 530)
i have done all three essays and also have recommendation from the president of my school..

and my activities are: Student Ambassador,
Concert, Marching, and Jazz band for 4 years,
and NHS for 3 years..

Please chance me! I am planning to submit around this week and
i am so not sure if i will get in or not...

p.s. my first choice of major is undergraduate studies.

What is your class rank? That’s the most important factor.
But regardless of your rank, I’d say you’d probably get CAP’d.

my class rank is (8/55)…
What if my essays are above the average?

that really sucks about your class rank…

you will most likely get cap’d mostly because of your test scores. i would recommend taking the ACT, its more math/science based, which is clearly your strong suit. what happened on critical reading and writing on your SAT?? your math score is reallyy high… or just retake the SAT and hopefully improve the other sections. best of luck :D

really?? i didn’t know it was that hard to get in UT without 10% rule…
how how my SAT scores have to be to get admission? because i thought my scores are enough to get in Undergraduate Studies or Liberal Arts…

I think it is too late to retake the SAT or to take the ACT for fall 2010 admissions.

Yes, but i took November’s SAT and i’m very sure that will be better than the last score…

what are my chances:
I am out of state
170/1600 on SAT 2080/2400
600 and 630 SATII’s
91.5/100 average
many extracurriculars
sent in my application late october
