<p>again, your test scores are only one part of your application. they’ll read through it all and give an overall result =) soo don’t worry too much about your test scores. they really arn’t that bad.</p>

<p>WOW is all i have to say at that list of extracurriculars. However your test scores don’t seem to show you off as much as you might need them to because test scores are used by colleges because they’re a easy way to compare people that apply from everywhere. However all your schools look like target schools to me except for brown and upenn.</p>

<p>Everyone has pretty much covered everything - amazing stats but SAT/ACT keeping you down a bit. Still, you have great chances no matter where you apply.</p>

<p>With that said, (as you mentioned) colleges want to see that you are well-rounded but also passionate about certain things. People might disagree but it seems that some of the ECs you did were only to get into a good college and colleges wouldn’t like that. I think you should pick the ones that mean the most to you and that interest you the most. Long list is not a good idea. Once again though, great awards, GPA, etc. Good luck!</p>

<p>Send in your resume, but make sure you highlight the important ones on your common application.</p>

<p>EC’s are nothing but pure joy. But due to the intricacy of the college application process, you’ll find that great EC’s only represent the potential you have. If you really want to make most of what you have, you REALLY REALLY need to stress these in your essays! </p>

<p>As for your 30 ACT, it is indeed bottom quartile in some of those IVYs. If your chances to retake them are gone, I’d suggest making note somewhere that despite somewhat mediocre (still top 5%) test scores, your other attributes show that you are successful in both school and EC’s.</p>

<p>As for chance, I’d say above average applicant to the IVYs, but still reach because of scores.</p>

<p>i just found out that I won (finalist and getting 10,000 will find out in early april if i win more money) the coca cola scholarship, a comcast scholarship, and a distiguished finalist for my state for the prudential spirit of community award. will these help my chances greatly enough for me to notify my colleges? should i send them a letter?</p>
