University of Florida
Northeastern

I plan on taking the ACT again this weekend to hopefully raise my math score.

Do I have a chance at Stanford? Please be honest!

I’m pretty sure you can get into U of Florida and U of Miami. And maybe Northeastern. Your SAT II scores (math and bio) aren’t so great; however, your GPA is beyond amazing, and schools do prefer students who are bilingual.(which you are)

Now, moving on to your main question:
Stanford prefers In-State students over others from differents states/countries. Also, it is known as a big sports school, and as you mentioned, are you really good at softball? I guess you are since you’ve been playing for six years, and this could be your forte.

My friend got into Stanford with pretty average GPA (3.7) and SAT I and II scores (2010/ math II: 720 / French: 740), but he was #1 squash player in my province, and Stanford gladly accepted him for his talent.

Try to find stuff that you’re really good at or passionate about. Hopefully, the admissions committee would find this and choose you over thousands of applicants.

Good luck!
