<p>Ehh not to be blunt, but I’d say you’re pretty much out of the running for Boston College because of your unweighted GPA, and your ACT scores put you near the bottom of the middle 50% scores (28-32). I would put NYU at a reach, just because only 10% of the freshman class had a GPA between 3.0-3.25 and once again, your ACT scores are at the bottom of the middle 50%. I’d put Boston University as a match because I know kids from my high school with worse stats who got in.

<p>Hey, the only one of these schools I’m familiar with is NYU and I’d say your chances there are about a high match, low reach. It’s not an automatic walk-in because your GPA is below their average. Try to write good essays</p>

boston college- reach (your ACT are a little low for them)
write really good essays and if you have any hooks (URM, first gen, legacy) make those known! that will help
