Chance Me!

I'm applying for Phillips Andover and Exeter.
I am an 8th grader in a GT Magnet School. To get into this school, you nut take a nationally normed test and get 97th percentile or above on it. My grades are all A's except for history. (Getting A's in this school is hard because it is a school composed of really smart GT kid and the teachers give us really hard work.)
I am a really good swimmer. I have met the AAAA standard in 2006. I'm still pretty good. My best event is the 100 Breast with a time of 1:07. Looking at the current Andover swimmers, I would be the 2nd best breastroker in the school. (And I'm not even in high school yet!). The best breastroker is graduating this year, so I might actually be the best as a 9th grader. YAY!
I'm 1st chair in my school's top band. Our band entered the Mark of Excellence/ National Wind Band Honors contest (A national contest for middle school band), and placed in the top 15 middle school bands in America. I recorded several college level pieces on a CD such as the Mozart Clarinet Concerto and sent it to the schools.
I'm in NJHS. I do Community Service.
I play some tennis.
But my main hook is the swimming. I'm hoping that the coaches will be impressed by my times.
My Essays are really good.
My interviews were fantastic.
My recs are really good, except for math. (She left it oped on her desk and I saw it. She put checks on "Above Avarage") NOOOO!. All the other subjects has checks on "the top 10% I have ever met", or something like that. (My counselor told me.)
My SSAT is not that good. It's:
Verbal Score 722
(Personal Score Range: 701 - 743, SSAT Percentile 83%)

Math Score 767
(Personal Score Range: 746 - 788, SSAT Percentile 88%)

Reading Score 695
(Personal Score Range: 674 - 716, SSAT Percentile 80%)

Total Score 2184
(Personal Score Range: NA, SSAT Percentile 87%)

I'll be retaking it on January.
Oh, and I'm Korean by the way.

And by the way, all my courses are Pre-AP/GT.
Even though I wrote that I have a B in History, they don’t know that. I sent the report card before I got the B, so it should be fine. The only problem is… That report card says that I have a 89 in math.
I skipped two grades in math though… I’m in Geometry Pre-AP/GT.
Thanks!

I think you should be fine. You have great academic credentials considering your math and where you go to school. SSATs arent to big a deal and you did relatively good. You might need to pump up the community service, although it is truly to late to do much about that. I say you have an excellent chance, but don’t psych yourself out. Everyone on cc seems to be perfect, and not all other candidates will be so, i will somewhat hypocritically say: Dont Worry! :)

Thanks for your nice post.
Good luck with your application…

Anyone else???
(About to cry)

Really good stats. I’d say you have a good chance (:
