I read one of my recs and it was really, really good--it was from my yearbook advisor. I'm stressing particularly about this school because my Common App essay was pretty short and I feel like it was too general. Thank you!

Great ACT! Other things make a difference too: have you visited? Do you need FA? (they are need-aware). What are your AP scores?

i have terrible ap scores. no 5s, and i got 4s on stat and calc. i have 3s on eng 3 and psych. i do need financial aid and i have visited.

Ouch! Considering your high ACT scores, my impression is that your AP teachers aren’t very good at teaching to the test. How did other kids at your school do with the AP tests?
I don’t think it should hurt your chances. After all, that’s just more classes you’ll have to pay for at Wash!
