Would be in at LA. SD is safety for you.

With GPA and Test scores alone, you have more than enough points on the point system to be admitted.

Do any of you guys know how different it will be this year, considering a lot more people applied this year compared to other years?

It’ll be interesting this year because admissions might consider adjusting for yield because of the bad publicity.

I doubt they’ll do that. Especially since the groups which would most likely be affected by the bad rep are (as they themselves say) historically underrepresented.

On top of that, you have to take into account that a lower yield would actually not be a Bad thing. UCs want students paying sticker price, not more public ones, which explains the decision by Cal to accept more out-of-state kids at the expensive of in-states. I’m expecting the point cutoff to move up as usual.

^ Any guess as to what this year’s cutoff would be? Also how much higher are the point cutoffs for impacted majors? Say biology?

i’m probably wrong but i believe last year was 7700, and unfortunately i predict it will be 8000 :(

Last year it was around 7730 or so. 8000??? In the past years it has steadily increased by 30 pts or so each year, why do you think it will jump 270 pts this year?

i dont know, o.o I only applied her cuz my parents wanted me to <.<. I don’t follow UCSD lol
