Please note I will require financial aid

Please help.
Thanks in Advance

I’d retake the SATs if I were you, your ECs are somewhat fine.

r u kidding me…
first ur international…(u do realize that there r only at MOST 20 kids from india who make cornell each year)

second, ur sat scores r…disastrous… 1760 IS NOT GONNA GET AN INTERNATIONAL STUDENT INTO ANY, ANY US school (let alone cornell)

third…ecs r WEAK, I REPEAT WEAK

oh and as for ur question… NO NO NO. toefl DOES NOT make up for cr since it only tests whether u no how to communicate and understand basic basic english. cr tests MASTERY of language

all in all, u have maybe at most 0.1% of a chance… srry
hope that wasnt too harsh

Even though your stats and Ec’s are not very strong, you still have a chance to get Cornell. Because, Cornell admits large amount of international students. I disagree with kelloggss. I know several students who have lower sat scores got into top universities.

@kelloggss - yes, that was way too harsh. No need to bring this person down, ok?

As for your chances, I would have to say that your SAT scores are not that great. So take it again. And I think your ECs are perfectly fine. Although you might want to find some kind of an internship during the summer to make your application a bit better.

Really? I thought CR only tests for the ability to withstand episodes of extremely boring and laborious text for the sake of withstanding episodes of extremely boring and laborious text.

I think your ECs are fine, but try to take the SAT again to raise it a bit! Then, I am sure you have a chance!

@ kelloggss: wait REALLY? hahaha way to totally RIP someone apart. Just because you don’t think he/she has a chance doesn’t mean you can just completely destroy his confidence like that. You are so rude and just not needed in this conversation.

oh and btw, I didnt apply to Cornell (I got in early to Washu) but I just wanted to post this here because I think you have no right to be that mean to anyone.

Some high school students, i.e. kelloggss, only seem to gain satisfaction and self worth from putting other people down.

Hopefully it’s a trait that will be pounded out soon enough. Otherwise you’ll find yourself miserably lonely one day.
