<p>So i think I’m a really odd case for the UCs… I studied 9/10 in Germany and my 11/12 here in US… So I don’t know how the UCs calculate my GPA.</p>
<p>my GPA is about a 3.6 (only for 11… don’t know how to calculate 10th)
my SAT is 1840 </p>
<p>I really want to get into the design major in UC Davis! Last year, I heard it was an impacted major but would it be the same this year? </p>
<p>I know how to speak 7 languages quite fluently and I my essay was on my experience in the Dachau Concentration Camp… I’m really hoping this would impress the Admission Counselors…
I hear UCD has a point system so I don’t know how that’s going to work out 
I’m really nervous!</p>

<p>No offense, and I really do hope for the best for you, but if you got rejected from UCSC and UCI for engineering, there is a high chance that you will also get rejected from UCD.</p>

<p>wow! we have (almost) the same problem! but im from france, and i only speak 3 languages fluently haha. hope you get into UCD! i have lower stats than yours (3.5gpa, 1680 SAT, 25 ACT) but I got into UCR, UCM, Cal Poly Pomona, SFSU, SJSU so far. still waiting for UCI and UCD.</p>

<p>i applied for civil engineering to all my schools except UCR cause they don’t have it.
I want to get into UCD (one of my top choices) but if i don’t, i’ll go to Cal Poly Pomona.</p>

I got the FUHSD community Service award (its for about 100 hours of community service)
I was a summer counselor for a camp for 2 weeks
I was the chess club founder in my previous school… and like allll the club money was used for building a life size chess set for our new school building
I joined the robotics team this year… I personally couldnt do much coz i was a rookie… Ibut we won the Chairmans award yesterday (its the most prestigious award in the whole competition)
Part of Interact (relatively active), Hindu Awarness club, Society for a healthier America
I used to help around a lott in the school concerts in germany… most of the organization stuff
I also did this project on Nutrition and Dietetics by myself for like 1 1/2 years out of class time… I got 29/31 for that.</p>

Your EC’s look really amazing, I don’t see any reason why those schools rejected you.
