<p>Hello! I am a junior from the North East who would love to go to GW!</p>

GPA: around a 3.5 on a 4 scale (our school has an obscure system so that number is a calculated estimate)
Consistently on High Honor Roll
Taking 3 AP classes
Academic recognition for debate team involvement
Semi-finalist in JFK Profile in Essay Contest 2010</p>

<p>Debate: Extremely active member, Qualified for the NCFL National tournament as a sophomore, achieved triple-ruby status in junior year, Vice President junior year (specializing in Lincoln Douglas Debate),</p>

<p>Partnering and Linking Students (PALS)President: mentoring program with special education department to help students in their transition into high school and bring them a friendly face in the hall, schedule group events</p>

<p>Students for Political Change (SPC): Creator and President - work to inform students of their political rights, create a forum where students can voice their political ideas, set up mock gubernatorial, senatorial, and presidential elections</p>

<p>Your stats are similar to mine and I was just accepted Regular Decision to GW. My best advice would be to be really specific on your Why GW? essay and interview on campus if possible. I think that really helped me.</p>
