You certainly do have some promising extracurriculars though they are quite varied. Some of them I wouldn’t include - such as the Scrabble competition. You should think about what the award shows about you as a character and how you will contribute to the university (for example, your accomplishments in essay writing show you are a good writer; an academic trait, however Scrabble may just show that you got good letters when you picked them). Personally, Scrabble may show that you are unique, but, depending on the admissions officer, it could push them the wrong way.

Your head prefect stands out a lot, and it often helps people with mediocre grades and SATs get into amazing schools - emphasize it. Apart from that I cannot really give more chances as I do not have much information regarding your standardized tests and transcript.

If you want to get into Ivies, I would say, alongside your current extracurricular achievements, you should attain a 2100+ SAT I, 700/750+ SAT IIs, a weighted GPA of at least 4.3. Most importantly, make sure you are taking the most rigorous course load.

Your very sporty, you may want to get yourself recruited for soccer. :D

Choose the school for the subject, not the name. I mean, of course you wouldnt want to qo to harvard if youre pursuinq music or somethinq. and theres a lot of financial aid out there.

There’s plenty of need-based aid at many non-Ivies, but if you need merit aid you are not going to get any at any of the Ivies.

That’s true. Which non-ivies in the North East give A LOT of internationals aid?
I haven’t really decided what major I’m definitely going into so i assumed that I would be set if i changed my major and was in an Ivy.

And thank you Jebar Polsky! That makes so much sense and I never thought about it in that way before. Haha I will definitely take your advice! My transcript is kind of boring. It shows gradual improvement in the O level course from Bs (and D’s in some subjects) to As and as for the A level course, just As & Bs.

I let Hamilton’s dean of admission and coach know about my soccer and they want a video so I’d probably get started on that!
