<p>What are my chances of being admitted into the following schools: Duke, Cornell, Stanford, Rice, Brown (just curious), and University of Texas at Austin</p>

<p>Some stats!:
African American female; TX
4.02 GPA..incoming high school senior
ranked 1/70. 1A school =(
Just took my SAT so..idk the results yet
Will take SAT II- math level 2 and Biology M...should beast at those
My school doesn't offer AP or IB classes. Instead we have Dual Credit classes. I've taken DC History (received a B) and College Algebra (received an A). Will take DC English, Speech, and Physics senior year.
Marching Band for 6 years. Section Leader-sophomore. Assistant Drum Major-junior. Head Drum Major-senior.
Outstanding Clarinet 2009-2010
Student Council for 3 years. Sophomore Class VP Junior class VP. Senior Class VP.
Student Body President-senior year
Yearbook-junior year; will be yearbook editor senior year
Beta Club-3 years
Fellowship of Christian Athletes-3 years
Future Business Leaders of America-one year (Vice President)
UIL: Lincoln-Douglas Debate (3rd in district) Calculator apps ( 2nd in district individual and 1st place team..advanced to regionals..did horribly lol.)
Outstanding Biology Student-sophomore year
Outstanding Chemistry Student-junior year
Yearbook Student of the Year-junior year
Church Choir Member-all of my life
About 60+ community service hours SO FAR; blood drive, peer turoring, serving at city banquets, stuff like that.
Oh! Went to state in marching band in 2007
All As so far.

<p>Make sure you do well on those SAT scores, also I think you should have a couple more safeties (UT is definitely a safety for you especially since you live in TX).</p>

<p>UT and TAMU will be good choices for you. </p>

<p>middle class family…so i’d say <$75,000. Money could be an issue, but probably not a deal-breaker. And i hate TAMU with a passion lol.</p>

<p>Well, since your family’s income is too high for free federal money, you will need to ask your parents how much they will pay each year for your college education.</p>

<p>Keep in mind that if med school is in your future, then you’ll want to borrow as LITTLE as possible for undergrad since you’ll have to borrow so much for med school. You could run out of borrowing power if you borrow too much for undergrad.</p>
