Chance Me?

I am a rising senior at Bronx Science, & i wanted to know what my chances are at:

-NYU
-Sophie Davis
-Johns Hopkins
-Cornell
-Columbia
-BU
-BC
-Barnard

My SAT was 2110 combined.
Math: 700
Writing: 730
Reading: 680
ACT: 30
& hoping to raise these scores [going to take both again]

Math II: 750
US: 720
Chem: 710

I
m not sure about my average as of now [haven
t gotten an updated transcript]
but something like a middle-high 92.

I`ve taken honors math all three years.
I took Honors English, AP Stat, AP Psych this year.
& am going to take AP Calc BC, Ap Chem, AP US Govt, & AP Lit.

Not too strong in ECs:
-Volunteered at Library
-Volunteering at nearby hospital
-Cooking Club
-MSA 2 years
-Track Manager: all of junior year.
-Biology Squad [helping out in the Biology Dep`t]
-School Library Service
& hope to join Arista next year.

So what are my chances at all these schools?

PS. I might want to do ED at either Cornell or Columbia. Which one should I choose & what are my chances at that?
AND, also, I might also want to major in BME. Does that hurt/ improve my chances?

You don’t have a chance at any of the Ivy’s. But you have a chance at NYU and Hopkins. NYU’s acceptance rate is very high as I recall.

Bronx Science is a specialized high school if I recall correctly, so that will look good for NYU and Hopkins.

Where do you fall rasnk wise in your class?

Both Coulmbia and Cornell get a lot of applicants from Bronx Science and they will only take so many. They get a tom of great applicants from the many great high schools in NY and don’t want a school full of New Yorkers.

So your greatest competition is your own classmates and then the rest of the high achieving kids in NYC. So get your scores up for a start-the averages include all the hooked and the kids from Alaska who can get in with lower stats.

Barnard ED or BC may be the best bet.

yeah Bronx Science is a specialized school.

& in terms of ranking, I don
t believe our school releases ranks [or does it at all]
but i
d say maybe the top 15% or so?
