<p>i'll be a senior this fall and i'm extremely worried about what type of college i'll be getting into.</p>
<p>my sched. (includ. senior year)</p>
<p>English - 4 years (english 9, 10, ap lang.(11thgrade) and ap literature(12) ).
History - 4 years (world hist. 1 and 2, u.s, and gov't )
Foregin Lang. - Spanish (5 years includ. senior year), French 1 in 10th grade which i didnt continue afterwards
Math - (alg 1, alg 2, geometry, pre calc w/trig)
Science - (biology, earth science, chemistry honors, physics (regular) and ap enviornmental science) - taking 2 science courses in 12th
Electives - (Finance, Studio Arts, psychology, ap psychology, gym/health)</p>
<p>Extra Cirricular</p>
<p>Ceramics Club member - 9th grade
Key Club member - 11th grade
Volunteering - receptionists - 2hr/wk - summer 09, '10</p>
<p>Also.. volunteering at a hospital during the senior year of my high school starting in september. (its not confirmed but i will be applying in sept.)</p>
<p>SAT score - 1410 (low, i know. will be retaking it again in oct.)
440 Reading
490 Math
480 Writing</p>
<p>GPA - 2.8 (as of the end of sophmore year, not weighted) - should be a 3.0 but my counselor hasnt updated my gpa yet but i think it should be around 3.0</p>
<p>what colleges will accept that ^^^</p>
<p>** i live in virginia and go to one of the best high schools in america
i'm not sure about my majors or the colleges i'm specifically interested in applying for
but please, in your opinion, do you think my classes are rigerous? what can i improve to make my chances better for good colleges like columbia or virginia tech, uva, etc.</p>
