<p>I would appreciate some feedback about my chances of getting into The Ohio State University next year.</p>

<p>I am a rising senior and my schedule just messed up. I had to sacrifice 2 of my most needed AP classes in order to take a college class that is co-op with my local community college. But anyway, here is my story.</p>

<p>African American</p>

<p>Largo High School, Maryland</p>

<p>Weighted GPA - 3.91
Unweighted GPA - 3.77</p>

<p>Class Rank 3/325</p>

(I fell asleep during the Nov 2009 admin) Will Retake in October</p>

<p>Will take the ACT next month...hoping for a 28-30</p>

<p>I think you have a fairly alright chance. Your SAT is low though. The CR score range for Ohio State is 530-640. The math range is 560-670. (This means that fifty percent of those accepted make within that range, you should aim at least for the lowest of the range, meaning a 1090 combined)
ACT range is 24-29.</p>

<p>So if you can get scores in their range, I think you’d pretty much have almost a sure bet at getting in. If you don’t quite make it in the range, don’t get discouraged. You get a bit of a boost by being african american (i say this meaning no offense). Just pour your heart into your essay.</p>

<p>Thanks…standardized tests are my primary obstacle.
Just another question: Is it better to take the Co-Academic College class at my school and just 1 AP class, or not to take the college class and take 3 AP classes (AP Lit, AP Phys, AP HumGeo)?</p>
