<p>Thanks in advance for your opinions, and please be honest :).</p>

Senior this year (2011)
Will be applying for Financial Aid
GPA: 4.44 W, 3.83 UW
SAT: 1860 (Poor job on the Reading, will be retaking)
Rank: 35/200ish- Very competitive public school system.
Taken mainly honors courses, as well as AP Physics B my Junior year.
Taking 3 AP's and 3 honors classes this year.</p>

<p>Other Stuff:
Lifeguard (2 years)
Worked in pool snackbar (2 years)
National Spanish Exam Silver Medalist
National Technical Honor Society Member
Member of Class Council (2010)
Volunteer on Appalachian Service Project (4 years, 40+ hours per year of service)
Volunteer for School's Baseball Camp (2009, 2010- for kids aged 9-13)
Baseball Player for 10+ years
2 Years of Varsity Swimming
4 Years Varsity Baseball- Starter
All-Conference Baseball (2009, 2010)
Baseball Team MVP (2010)
Baseball Conference Pitcher of the Year (2010)</p>

<p>There is probably more stuff I have forgotten but these are the basic things.</p>

UNC-Chapel Hill (Top Choice, Dad got PhD there, I go to school in Chapel Hill and apparently they're harder on kids in this district..)
U of Richmond (Legacy: Grandfather and Uncle attended)
NC State (Sister attended)
Wake Forest
Davidson</p>

<p>I've worked really hard on my essays, and feel strong about them. I'm thinking about sports science/medicine, and have a good recommendation from my science teacher of three years.</p>

<p>If there are any schools in the state of NC that I may want to consider, I would be open to suggestions. Thanks again!</p>
