If you were instate you would DEFINITELY be in.
But out of state…well…I’m not sure. It’s hard for an out of state person to be accepted. Although you have the stats, you are lacking in the SAT area. Bring it up past the 2000s and you should be good to go!

I agree with pchs10 - your SATs are not ‘perfect’ …

I hope the following link works - I found this site to be VERY useful! You can estimate your ‘statistical chances’ yourself with this tool; you can play with multiple variables and see for yourself (instate vs. oos, gender, valedictorian, etc) - cool site!

http://college./college/analytics/scatter-plots.php?id=1503&search_button=Analyze%21

You’ll find that UNC has accepted a few oos-candidates with SATs in the range of 1730 (the lowest) or ~1870 - but many of them have some ‘hooks’ that helped, like URM, etc.

Good luck!

The link was "<a href=“http://college.">http://college.” - I hope this works now …

Congratulations on an outstanding resume. I think everything is perfect for you except for your SAT’s. Try to bring it up 50 points or more if you can, but besides that you’re perfectly set. Make sure to stress your uniqueness and potential contribution to the University in your essays.
